As a natural evolution of MAPR’s Department of Education, the institution is currently developing a new Educational Innovation Center, set to open its doors in mid-year. This initiative is made possible thanks to the support of the Flamboyán Arts Fund and the Miranda Family. The first level of the Museum will be transformed to house the Art and Community program and the Study and Research program. As a central feature, it will include an Artist Residency, made possible through a grant and partnership with the Darryl Chappell Foundation.
