Zilia Sánchez: Topologías/Topologies

March 1, 202512:00am - 11:45pm General Public Exhibition

Through these paintings, which allude to bodily forms while maintaining abstract qualities, the artist has explored formalist concerns and subtly addressed social issues related to gender, feminism, and identity formation. The significant number of Sánchez’s early works included here further expand the understanding of the broad scope of her practice and her central role in geometric abstraction.
