Ceramist. In 1983 she obtained her bachelor's degree in economics from Universidad de Puerto Rico, where, in 1987, she also obtained her master's degree in planning. From 1990 to 1992 she took courses in ceramics at Casa Candina, where she won the Acquisition Prize in the Third Puerto Rican Biennial of Contemporary Ceramics in 1992. Se has exhibited individually and collectively in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Venezuela and Croacia. From the collective shows, her participation in Careos/Relevos a commemorative exhibition of the 25 years of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico held in 2010 stands out. Her most recent solo exhibition called Paisaje de verano o A través del espejo, was held at Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in 2014. Her work stands out for the varied treatments she employs with clay, which go far beyond the physical properties of the material.
