Painter. Zayas obtained a Bachelor’s in Painting from Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico in 2003. He currently is professor at Universidad Metropolitana in San Juan, where he teaches the only Urban Art course offered in Puerto Rico. In recent years he has participated in several art festivals in Puerto Rico, such as, Santurce es Ley and Los Muros Hablan. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, individually and collectively, such De Barrio Obrero a La 15, at the Museo de las Américas in San Juan, and ANIMALIA, at the Museo de Arte de Caguas in Caguas, Puerto Rico, both during 2014. His work depicts his vision of what is happening around him, most of the time characterized through the personification of animals.
