Artist Statement

“My artistic practice gives special attention to the reinterpretation of situations in the city that instill, in one way or another, feelings of animosity, resignation, fear or violence. I employ different materials such as papier mâché, ceramics, wood and PVC to recreate objects usually found within a city context, revealing the diverse ways architecture and public space affect our subconscious. By presenting these objects to the viewer in a controlled environment, they become highly aware of how the visual archeology of the city unveils our innermost emotions and obsessions”.
