The Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary with a series of events that blend art, culture, and creativity. Join our special programming, become part of an institution committed to our artistic heritage, and feel the pride of supporting it.

The new exhibition calendar kicks off in March with a showcase of Zilia Sánchez, a Cuban artist who lived in Puerto Rico for decades and a unique voice in postwar Latin American modernism and geometric abstraction. In November, we will present an innovative and unprecedented narrative of our permanent collection, reflecting diverse perspectives by bringing new works to the forefront.

MAPR’s educational programming continues to evolve, reinforcing the pillars of our institution: a porous museum, open to the community, showcasing the diversity of creative approaches by artists; a sustainable organization where our Sculpture Garden plays an essential role; a focus on innovation, experimentation, and collaboration, all while maintaining an international vision to serve as a bridge between cultures.

In 2025, we will open our doors to more visitors than ever—because art is for everyone!
