The Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico (MAPR) offers a variety of guided tours.  Visitors can select the type of visit that will ensure maximum enjoyment of their visit to the Museum.  Visitors can also choose to joing one of the scheduled tours during the weekends without previous appointment.  The MAPR has a team of docents and interpreters trained especially to offer a rich experience to any visitor, regardless of age.

Ask about our Audioguides available for the exhibition “Interconnections.”  These are the perfect complement to your visit if you want to enjoy the exhibition at your own pace.

Through previous appointment and with no additional cost to the MAPR’s Admission fee, you can also enjoy a guided tour of the MAPR.  The tours can be offered in English, Spanish and American Sign Language for general public audiences, school groups and university students.  You can request your guided tour by calling 787.977.6277, ext. 2230 or sending an email to info@mapr.org.

Guided Tours for school groups

  • Guided Tours for school groups are arranged through advance appointment. It is necessary to confirm the reservation prior to the date of the visit.
  • For every 10 students the presence of one teacher or adult is required.
  • Tours accompanied by a workshop are offered only for groups larger than 20 people and require an advance appointment.
