Above all I am a painter but I also love drawing and printmaking. Depending on how you look at it, this character situates me in a traditional or argumentative position. To continue painting following the onslaught of the wonderful Wizards of "Silicon Valley" is a challenge. I think printmakers and photographers have unlimited mediums within their possibilities without leaving out, also, all new fields created for the image as video games, to mention one. I believe that the evolution of the electronic medium will lead to a significant reduction in the price of art works in the sense that an exhibit will now be as a music concert recorded on CD and put on sale as any other CD of a singer or rock band, making the image fully accessible to the general public and, of course, to the piracy affecting music and film producers nowadays. This also will encourage the production of flat panel displays because, depending on how big we want to watch the image contained in the CD, will determine them. Those who develop this idea, if it is that nobody has yet deduced it, please remember that you read it here. "SONY rimember mi". I imagine that artists will want to retain the master of that CD but I do not think that it is possible for a long time. "As I do not understand anything about the logic of the art market I guess I do not understand what I just wrote here so consider it "ai pis of conceptual art.' *
